TECHNICAL TRAINER II

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Trainer with a strong background in cybersecurity or Information Security. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering training programs that equip our employees or clients with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the field of cybersecurity. This position will be Hybrid In Person/Remote. Schedule is flexible.

Key Responsibilities

Curriculum: Present and instruct students using comprehensive training materials, including presentations, manuals, and hands-on exercises, tailored to various cybersecurity topics and skill levels.

Training  Delivery: Conduct engaging and informative training sessions, workshops, and seminars both in-person and online, ensuring participants gain practical knowledge and experience in cybersecurity concepts and tools.

Needs Assessment: Collaborate with industry forums to assess the training needs of the target audience and engage for upcoming class events.

Technical Expertise: Utilize your technical  knowledge to stay updated with the latest industry best practices,  incorporating this information into training presentation vernacular.

Cybersecurity Expertise: Utilize your in-depth cybersecurity knowledge to stay updated with the latest threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices, incorporating this information into training presentation vernacular.

Evaluation and Feedback:  Implement evaluation mechanisms to measure training effectiveness, gather feedback, and continuously improve training materials and delivery methods.

Training  Documentation: Maintain accurate records of training activities,  including attendance, evaluations, and certifications.

Stay  Current: Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies, trends, and  regulations in the cybersecurity field to ensure training content  remains relevant.

Mentoring: Provide guidance and support to students, offering additional assistance when needed to reinforce learning.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in the information security or cybersecurity industry.
• Proven experience as a technical trainer, including curriculum development and delivery.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, tools, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to adapt training methods to diverse learning styles.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCP, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CEH) are a plus.
• Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching and promoting cybersecurity awareness.
